Pumpkin Carving Party!

We had a busy weekend, capped off with our first pumpkin carving party! We invited a few friends to join us, had chili, mac & cheese, and of course some treats! We had so much fun getting ready, and had lots of fun hanging with our friends!

M&M Days

A couple days a week, one of our old neighbor girls, Morgan, comes over afterschool a couple of days a week. She is a great help with Maddie, and Maddie absolutely adores Morgan. Most days Maddie is waiting by the front door anxiously awaiting Morgan's arrival. She keeps Miss Morgan busy from the moment she arrives to the moment she walks out the door! This week, Morgan helped Maddie make her haunted house! They had lots of fun, and the house turned out great!

Sunday Funday @ the Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday, 10.10.10 we made our family trip to Shaake's Pumpkin patch! Mimi, Poppa & our friend Tara & Teagan came along! Maddie and Teagan had tons of fun picking out pumpkins, playing on the slides, seeing the animals and eating some yummy kettle corn! We couldn't have picked a better day! It was beautiful out!

K-State Proud!

We had a fun family day at Bill Snyder Stadium! Our Wildcats, took on Nebraska (let's just say the outcome of the game was not the high point of our day!). Nonetheless, it was a beautiful day for some tailgating fun!

Junior Jaguar Clinic!

This weekend was Mill Valley High School's, Junior Jaguar clinic. Though, the forms said K-8, the coach said they would accept anyone who was potty trained! So, we signed Maddie up! I can't believe I have a little girl who is old enough to start going to cheer clinic!

The practice was only for an hour & half before the game. So, I dropped her offer she was very excited, but once we got inside, she got very shy. A couple of the cheerleaders instantly involved her, and she was over it. I came back to pick her up and watched what she had learned! Pretty impressive for a 3 year old and an hour & half! We went home, had a quick bite to eat, changed into her "uniform" and reported to the football field. She "cheered" for the 1st & 2nd quarter. In between the quarters, they had a quick dance routine. She loved every minute, though I am pretty sure her favorite cheerleader was worn out by the end of the 2nd quarter. Maddie kept her busy the entire time!

Cooking Fun!

I have been busy designing a couple of fun parties I am hosting later this month! It is safe to say I love the designing & decorating part of hosting a party, and not so much the cooking part! My patience for cooking and baking is basically non-existent. So, while browsing a few blogs I have found some darling items to add to my party, however I thought I better do a couple of trial runs before the parties to make sure that my versions actually turn out and are edible. Maddie loves to help anytime I am cooking something! So, we made a few different items this week that she joined in on the fun! Here are a few pics...
